“The Women’s Subscription Enterprise is an initiative of The Big Issue, which provides meaningful employment to homeless, disadvantaged and marginalised women. In South Australia we have been lucky enough to have met Sarah Gun of GOGO events who with her creative style and positive but realistic attitude continues create outstanding results for our women. Through targeted practical training and real life paid event work experience - Sarah continues to take a group of women on a journey of life improvement. At the same time she is able to take the guests and organisers’ of events on a journey where bridges are built, compassion is cultivated. Opportunity is created for all. Long may it continue! The importance of the work, the role, the team and of course the income for the women involved is hard to over estimate - and having known Sarah and her energy, passion and skill now for a couple of years I suspect the best is still to come!”
